Gary Moore at San Javier Jazz Festival, Spain
Tuesday 15th July 2008, at the Parque Almanser, in the cntre of San Javier, Spain, saw an amazing concert by one of the finest blues guitarists around. The ex Skid Row and Thin Lizzie member, gave a passionate performance, as he played a mixed repetoire of old and new songs. The venue is a small ampitheatre, situated in a park in the centre of this small Spanish town, which is 5 minutes drive from Murcia airport. It was virtually a sell out, and the crowd were mainly Spanish, although there were a few Irish and British spectators. Below is a selection of numbers played, I cannot recall in what order but you may be familair with some of the songs: Oh Pretty Woman

I love you more than you will ever know - (brilliant new song)
The Blues is Alright
Parisienne Walkways
Spanish guitar instrumental played on a Gibson, very skilful. Gary made the Gibson sound just like an acoustic Spanish guitar, to the delight of the locals. It was a night to remember under a warm Spanish moonlit sky.
