Looking for my wife's aunt MARGARET PATRICIA DOUCEY, BORN SCOTLAND 1924

My wife, who was born in Edinburgh in 1952, was adopted. Recently she successfully found her birth mother, who is alas no longer with us. As a result of this search, she has found a brother and sister, and a whole new extended family. The missing link to her mother is her aunt, who appears to have disappeared off the radio over 40 years ago. MARGARET PATRICIA DOUCEY was born in Hamilton, Scotland, and her parents were Edward Doucey, from Ireland, a police officer and she hada sister Mary Eveleen Doucey. Mary had two ther children Deidre (Now O'neill 69 years old this year)and Anthony Mckeogh ( aged 64). Margaret probably knew Deidre , who was 12 when Margagret "disappeared" The last known thing was that she invited her father to go to her wedding to "an Army captain" possibly Australian. Margaret, who liked to known as Patricia,had an un-listed part in 2 films THE RED SHOES - 1948 and CAPTAIN BOYCOTT - 1947. She lived in Denham, Bucks UK at the time. She travelled on SS ORION in May 1952 from Tilbury Docks, London to Sydney,Australia as a showgirl. That is the last known event that many months of looking has revealed. It is a big world out there, so someone must know of her or what happened to her. We know she travelled a lot, to France and America, as well as Ireland, England etc... |
